R. Kelly’s cultural phenomenon “Trapped in the Closet” is coming back. The “Bump N Grind” crooner partnered with IFC again to develop more chapters full of drama.
The hip hopera is set to return in 2014. “R. Kelly is an enormously talented artist and his creativity is on full display in ‘Trapped in the Closet’ ,” says Jennifer Caserta, president and general manager of IFC. “We are fortunate to be his partner in this one-of-a-kind project that has captivated viewers and can’t wait to bring the next chapters of Trapped to IFC.”
In a past interview, R. Kelly revealed his plans for creating a “Trapped in the Closet” book and a Broadway musical. There are no details on whether or not Kellz will move forward with his plans.
