Mary J. Blige made her debut at the Royal Variety Performance 2013 on Monday night (Dec. 9). She performed a stirring rendition of “My Favorite Things” lifted from her “A Mary Christmas” album.
Dressed in a white gown with a fluffy accessory on her left shoulder, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul belted The Sound of Music’s classic tune in front of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
Her first-holiday album, “A Mary Christmas,” now stands at No.10 on the Billboard 200, making it her twelfth top ten album on that chart.
