R&B/Soul icon and 25-time Grammy award winner Stevie Wonder will join Pharrell and Daft Punk in a performance at the 56th GRAMMY Awards, taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Pharrell has seven nominations this year: two for Record Of The Year for “Get Lucky” (with Daft Punk) and “Blurred Lines” (with Robin Thicke and T.I.); two for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky” (with Daft Punk) and “Blurred Lines” (with Robin Thicke and T.I.); two in Album Of Year as a featured artist on Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” and as a producer on Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City;” and one for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical.
Williams previously won Grammy’s for Best Pop Vocal Album for Justin Timberlake’s debut album “Justified” (2003, served as producer), Producer of the Year (2004), Best Rap Song for “Money Maker” featuring Ludacris (2007).
Blue-eyed soul singer Robin Thicke will perform at the Grammys alongside American rock band Chicago. Thicke and Chicago will be sharing the Grammy stage for the first time. Thicke is nominated for three awards: Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Blurred Lines” (with Pharrell Williams and T.I.), and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Blurred Lines.”
The Grammy Awards airs Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
