Singer/actress Tiffany Evans recently sat down with Willie Moore, Jr. of Flatout TV, for a candid interview. During her interview, Tiffany discussed her company, Little Lady Enterprises, how she has changed, her new music, her relationship with Ciara, and more.
See excerpts below.
On her company Little Lady Ent.:
My husband came up with the name Little Lady Ent. [We do] film and video production, web design, wardrobe styling, hair and makeup, artist development, casting…just so much.
On how she has changed since being married, having a child and seeing life on her own:
Being in this industry for so long — when you grow up in it, sometimes you have to sacrifice a lot of stuff. You sacrifice your childhood if you started young in it because you’re working towards a goal. So you want to get there and it requires you to work hard. So sometimes, you might miss out on things. When I was younger, I always was like, “Okay, well, I know this, and I know that…and I’m very mature…and I think I’ve been through enough to speak about this.” I hadn’t been through anything compared to what I’ve been through now. If you don’t have the answers, it’s okay. Ask God for wisdom. And that’s been my biggest thing is asking Him for wisdom daily.
On her new music:
I’ve been going through a lot of things in a good way; just experiencing a lot of things emotionally — being a new mom…with business and everything…just so many things seeing, and I’m learning. I’m really excited about putting it all into my music. So that’s what I’m working on right now.
On if she’s going to do gospel or R&B:
See, the thing is .– and I’m trying to figure out and praying about it — I’m like Lord, you know I know you created a husband and wife to love on each other. So sometimes I want to express that in a song but not in a way that’ is like provocative. I just want to explain how I love my husband and how he loves me. Love is kingdom, so why not? Let’s create a beautiful love song, go on the beach, and let the world know that we love each other.
On her relationship now with Ciara:
There’s actually no relationship at all. It was for a while after everything, but I just take it for what it was. She was just a part of that time of my life and I was a part of that time in her life and it’s now passed. Sometimes things happen like that. It doesn’t have to be anything bad, no bad blood or anything like that. It’s just that sometimes people walk in for a season and they walk out. I really do see that she’s in a much happier place and I’m really, really happy for her…
