After receiving a tremendous turnout with last year’s BET Experience, it returns for its second go-round and features even bigger stars. The R&B musical lineup includes Mary J. Blige, Maxwell, Trey Songz, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, K. Michelle, August Alsina, Tamar Braxton, Marsha Ambrosius and more.
The three-day event begins on Friday, June 27 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with performances by our favorite neo-soul singers, Maxwell, Jill Scott and Marsha Ambrosius.
Following Friday’s musical festivities, the Saturday roster will include R&B’s newcomers K. Michelle, Ty Dolla $ign and August Alsina.
The weekend of live music closes on Sunday, June 29, with Mary J. Blige, Tamar Braxton, Trey Songz and Jennifer Hudson taking the stage.
The three-day festival ties in with the 2014 BET Awards, which takes place on Sunday, June 29 at the Nokia Theatre L.A.
Tickets for the BET Experience go on sale Friday, March 14.
