Luke James is one hell of a singer. He backs up that claim with an impressive cover of Sam Smith’s chart-topping single “Stay With Me.”
While Smith’s version is untouchable — and unstoppable on the Billboard charts right now –, James made Smith’s soulful track his own. The “I Want You” singer rallied up the right emotions in the studio to execute a stirring vocal performance.
On September 23, James will release his impending self-titled debut album via Def Jam. His Rick Ross assisted song “Options” serves as the lead single. According to All Access, the song stands at No. 27 on the urban adult contemporary radio chart.
