Out of all the singers who have tried covering Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Aretha Franklin’s version may be the best yet.
The Queen of Soul has released her rendition of Adele‘s mega-hit single as the first offering from her new album Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics.
Franklin’s new album will include remakes of classic songs, including “At Last” by Etta James, “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan, “No One” by Alicia Keys, and “Midnight Train to Georgia” by Gladys Knight and the Pips.
“Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics” will release on October 21 via RCA Records.
