Innovative musician Prince makes Billboard history with his latest album releases.
His solo project Art Official Age and his joint project Plectrumelectrum with 3rdEyeGirl, debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The latter achievement makes the “Purple Rain” performer the first artist since rapper Nelly (2004: Suit and Sweat) to have two albums simultaneously bow in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Selling 51,000 copies in its first week, Art Official Age arrives at No. 5 on the main albums chart. Meanwhile, Plectrumelectrum lands at No. 8 with 26,000 copies sold during its first week of sales.
