Emerging British singer Shay La Rose drops her new single “Running.” The Benjiflow-produced track is filled with heavy synths and lush drum patterns.
Shay La Rose uses “Running” to open up about her hunger for music, confessing to breaking out of a dark place that has been rife with obstacles and setbacks that often come with pursuing a career in music.
Speaking on her new track, the London-based singer says, “I really want people to connect and feel my emotion […] just going for what you want in life and running away from the madness.”
“Running” will appear on Shay La Rose’s forthcoming debut EP, which is slated to be released later this year. She already worked with Mikey SOS (Ariana Grande, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande) and Mr. Damention (Jermaine Riley, Rachel Kerr, Cherri V).
