Bilal is back! The soul crooner has released his new single “Satellites.”
Speaking on his new single, Bilal says, “Just another day in another life. I’m a satellite, watching the world watch people as they do what they do to people. So what did we do and what can we do and how did this happen.”
The smooth tune will appear on on his forthcoming album titled In Another Life, which is slated to release on June 30 via Purpose Music Group/eOne Music.
“I always try to paint pictures with my music…I like telling stories, stories you can see,” said Bilal. “With this album, I take a step back. I am moving away from the surrealism in my last album to explore the reality of the time.”
Bilal worked closely with producer Adrian Younge to create In Another Life.
“Working with Adrian Younge was a dream come true. He had the sound that I have been looking for. I also go to worked with some of the most talented up-and-coming and established MC’s and vocalists. Listeners are going to be excited.”
