In celebration of the 16th anniversary of D’Angelo’s classic single, “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” rising singer BJ The Chicago Kid releases a special tribute project. The soul crooner released a three-song EP with his rendition of D’Angelo’s timeless tracks including “Send It On,” “Always In My Hair” and “Untitled (How Does It Feel).”
“His musicality is beyond this world,” BJ said. “I had to celebrate his genius by paying homage to his legacy while he continues to kill the game and make great music. It’s a new year and there’s no better way to start it off than taking it back to where it all began for me. This is real Soul/R&B.”
“Untiled (How Does It Feel)” was released to radio stations on Jan. 1, 2000. Written and produced by D’Angelo and Raphael Saadiq, the ne0-soul tune climbed the Billboard charts, peaking at No. 25 on the Hot 100.
