Alternative R&B duo Majid Jordan has released their highly anticipated self-titled debut album via Drake’s OVO Sound/Warner Records. After gaining commercial recognition on Drake’s 2013 hit “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” the two haven’t slowed down since. The two served fans with their first EP, A Place Like This, in 2014
Majid Jordan opens with “Learn From Each Other,” a synth-funk groove about the importance of communicating in a relationship. “We can only learn from each other / And we can only grow here together / I only know how to be myself when I’m with you,” they sing.
The Toronto duo doesn’t hold back on giving fans something to dance to. Songs like “Something About You,” “Day and Night” and “Make It Work” are perfect for two-stepping.
