Last month producer Mike City opened his vault to release the unreleased remix of Sunshine Anderson’s hit “Heard It All Before” featuring Brandy. The producer digs back in his vault for a 12-year-old Jazmine Sullivan track “Life is Good.”
“I took time out just for me/ Time so I can finally see/ Find someone that I been searching for/I had to focus on her really tryna grow/Really tryna get to know this gem within my soul,” Sullivan sings.
“When you’re in the presence of greatness, you usually know right away..I knew Jazmine was great immediately!! She was only 14-15 yrs old and was an absolute BEAST and she STILL IS..being that today (4/9) is her b’day,” Mike City continued. “I wanted to let the real R&B/Soul heads hear how she was getting down BACK THEN…She cut her vocals in 1-2 takes and was under the weather too..#BEAST MC.”
