Maxwell is getting ready to take over 2016. After dropping his highly anticipated new single “Lake by the Ocean,” the R&B veteran announces dates for his summer tour. His tour dates will begin on June 10 in Tacoma, Wash. Maxwell will visit other cities across North America including Sacramento, Calif., New Orleans, La., Brooklyn, N.Y., and Austin, Texas to name a few.
On July 1, Maxwell release his oft-delayed album blackSUMMERS’night, which is the sequel to his 2009 release.
“I’m so hyped about the new album coming out, which is so exciting for me, because it’s fresh and it’s different, but it is what I do,” Maxwell told Essence earlier this year.
