Say what?! Legendary R&B groups Bell Biv DeVoe and SWV join forces for a beautiful track titled “Finally.” On the nostalgic track, BBD and SWV sing about finding the right lover.
“Baby you give me everything, so I’m gonna give you more / You never gotta worry about me / Baby, I’m for sure,” BBD sings.
“You are so secure, and I mean that / Some reciprocation is all I’ve been missing / I found myself in you, that I’ll be proud to say ‘I do,'” SWV sings.
“Finally” is the second single from BBD’s forthcoming album, Three Stripes ≡, due on January 27 via Entertainment One. The lead single “Run,” reached the Top 10 on urban adult contemporary radio.
In other news, BET is airing a three-part mini series chronicling New Edition’s journey from their beginning to international stardom. The series will air on January 24, 25, and 26 at 9 p.m ET.
