LeToya Luckett has announced her third studio album, Back 2 Life, will release on May 12 on Entertainment One Music. The 13-track LP will include a feature from Ludacris and production by Andre Harris, Warryn Campbell and newcomer Anthony Saunders, among others.
Back 2 Life will also include the title track, which was produced by Joseph “Jo Blaq” Macklin. The accompanying video has over 3 million views on Vevo.
In other news, Luckett has been very busy pursuing a few acting gigs including reoccuring roles on FOX’s Rosewood and and OWN’s Greenleaf. She is also gearing up to portray legendary singer Dionne Warwick in the new biopic, Dionne.
The film will follow the singer’s early career spanning from 1962-1968, during which time she created some of her biggest hits including “Alfie” and “I Say a Little Prayer.” Luckett will record Dionne Warwick’s songs for the movie soundtrack.
