Mali Music took to social media earlier this week to announce his upcoming album, The Transition of Mali, which will be released on June 2 on RCA Records.
The Transition of Mali will be the Grammy nominated singer’s second studio album to release on a major label. It will follow his 2014 LP, Mali Is, which debuted at number 16 on the Billboard 200 last June.
Last month, Mali released an inspirational song called “Gonna Be Alright.” In an Instagram post on March 31, he wrote “Yes. It’s time. Video is next, touring, then the album.” The Salaam Remi produced track will serve as the lead single.
