Emerging singer-songwriter Damar Jackson has released his new album, Unfaithful.
The project, which explores the aftermath of a relationship, features eight tracks including “Changed” and his latest single “Ritenow.”
Speaking on the latter track, Jackson said, “I wrote ‘RiteNow’ about my ex girlfriend moving on too fast and me not wanting anybody to touch her even after we broke up. I was in a relationship for five years with a chick that I invested in and help build as a woman.”
He continued, “The main reason it didn’t work out is because I couldn’t give her a 100 percent of me due to being 100 percent focused on my music. So when I visualized her having sex wit somebody else, I went crazy and was bout whatever because I know these niggas don’t deserve it nor know what they have. So even though we’re not together, I had to let her know. Don’t give MY love away!”
Unfaithful is a solid body of work for the Louisiana native . Some of the standout tracks include “Calling Me,” “FN Everything” and “No Protection,”
