Ty Dolla Sign continues to quench fans thirst for his upcoming album, Beach House 3, with the release of his latest song “So Am I” featuring Damian Marley and Skrillex.
On the four-minute track, produced by Skrillex, Ty Dolla Sign bridges reggae and EDM together as he croons about sharing similar interests with a new lover. “Girl, you’re looking for somebody / Somebody you can call on / Call on when you need it done right / If you’re looking for a real one, so am I,” he sings.
Damien Marley adds his two cents on the second verse with, “And if you needing some support, instead of someone coming home to pick a fight / Baby, so am I.”
In July, Ty Dolla Sign shared “Love You Better” featuring Lil’ Wayne and The Dream. So far, the track has reached No. 21 on urban radio and No. 33 on rhythmic radio.
Beach House 3 is the follow-up to Ty’s Campaign mixtape, which released last fall.
