Kehlani is back with new music. The singer-songwriter has released a heartwarming tune called “Honey.” Over an acoustic loop, produced by Geoffro Cause, the California native delivers beautiful lyrics as an ode to her girlfriend.
“All the pretty girls in the world / But I’m in this space with you / Colored out the lineI came to find, my fire was fate with you / Heartache would stay with you / Fly great escapes with you,” she sings.
She continues, “I like my girls just like I like my honey; sweet / A little selfishI like my women like I like my money; green / A little jealous.”
“Honey” is the first solo song Kehlani has released since she dropped her debut album, SweetSexySavage, earlier this year.
