Actor/singer Keith Robinson has released a visual for his latest single “Never Be You.” The soulful track is lifted from Robinson’s 2017 EP, Love Episodic.
Robinson tells Rated R&B the song was inspired by “experiences in my own relationships and the self-realization that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.”
Speaking on his directorial debut, Robinson says, “It was actually really organic and pretty seamless. It definitely presents more challenges but none that I haven’t experienced in some way being an actor and working with other directors.”
In the world of acting, Robinson stars in Bounce TV’s Saints & Sinners. Robinson is best known for his role as C.C. White in the Oscar-winning film, Dreamgirls, which co-starred Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson and Danny Glover.
