Teyana Taylor fans can expect more new music from her soon. The 27-year-old artist has announced her plans to do a joint album with Ty Dolla $ign.
Taylor shared the news after a fan tweeted, “Teyana Taylor and Ty Dolla Sign really made a song about having a threesome and killed it😍 wow.”
Taylor responded two minutes later, saying, “We actually bout to do a whole album together.”

The news comes after Taylor said she was going to re-release her latest album, K.T.S.E., with additional tracks. After those plans fell through, another fan wanted Taylor to assure her that her and Ty’s joint album would actually come to fruition.
“Please no more announcements tey😭😭 I can’t take it if they don’t come true,” the fan tweeted. Taylor replied, “Oh no this is for sure happening. A full album.”

Taylor released her sophomore album, K.T.S.E., on June 20 via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. The album debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes R&B Charts. Music legend Janet Jackson congratulated Taylor on Instagram.
“I just found out, Teyana, that your album hit number one on iTunes,” Jackson said. “I’m really happy for you. That’s awesome and congratulations. All the best to you.”
Taylor, who is a huge fan of Jackson, wasted no time to express her excitement about Jackson congratulating her. “This made my world y’all,” Taylor said. “Thanks @JanetJackson. I [love] you. I didn’t even know you knew I had an album dropping. My heart is beating so fast.”
In other news, Taylor is gearing up for her joint summer tour with Jeremih that kicks off on August 3 in Tampa.
