Estelle is dripping in gold in the music video for her latest single “Better.”
Co-directed by Denzel Williams, the British beauty gets ‘better’ acquainted with a chocolate muscled love interest who shares a similar liking for gold accessories. Later in the sexy video, Estelle and her playmate hit the dancehall to make love in the club.
“Better” is the latest single from Estelle’s fifth studio album, Lovers Rock, due on September 7 on VP Records and Established 1980 Inc. The LP will mark the singer’s first official release since 2015’s True Romance.
For the new album, planned to be Estelle’s most personal album to date, she will tap into her West Indian Roots and give fans a full-fledged reggae album. Additionally, she will incorporate the sounds of Afro-beats and Soca music.
The liner notes for Lovers Rock will feature production from several heavy-hitters in reggae and R&B including Supa Dups, Reefa, Jerry Wonda and Harmony Samuels, to name a few.
