August Alsina is turning pain into love this Valentine’s Day. The R&B heartthrob has released a love-ready soundtrack titled Forever and a Day.
Running 25-minutes long, the eight-track project finds Alsina in a vulnerable state. He muses sweet melodies as he sets the tone for a romantic occasion between him and his special lady. Alsina tributes ’90s R&B on “For You,” while he pairs with Ty Dolla $ign for an adoring duet called “Control.”
“Like You Love Me,” Alsina’s latest sensual track, isn’t featured on this passionate collection of songs. The tune stamped Alsina’s first release on his independent label Shake The World. Alsina is working on his follow-up to This Thing Called Life, his last album on Def Jam.
