Jacquees is stepping in the ring for Round 2 next month.
The self-proclaimed King of R&B has announced his sophomore album will release on July 19 via Cash Money Records, despite reports of a June release.
Along with the release date announcement, Jacquees also revealed the official artwork that shows him in a boxing ring, with boxing gloves on and a fedora. His Cash Money coaches Birdman and Slim appear in his corner.
Round 2 follows Jacquees’ debut album 4275, which was released last year June. He promised his fans the new album will “go harder” than his first LP.
Jacquees has already issued two singles from Round 2, including “Your Peace” featuring Lil Baby and “Who’s.” He released an accompanying video for the latter song, as well as a live Vevo session.
On July 7, Jacquees will perform at the 2019 Essence Festival in New Orleans.
