Chris Brown is adding some “Heat” to his album rollout. The multitalented entertainer just released his latest track featuring rapper Gunna from his forthcoming album, Indigo.
The mid-tempo, vibey track was produced by Buddah Bless. “This drip got you in heat / Just jump in, baby girl, hop on this dick, yeah / You know that I’ma beat / All this drip got your ass in heat, yeah,” Brown sings on the hook.
Indigo is set to drop on June 28 via Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records. On August 20, he will kick off his supporting tour in Portland with special guests Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy. The 38-city tour will make additional stops across major cities in North America, including Denver, New Orleans, Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
In other news, Brown’s Drake-assisted single “No Guidance” made a strong debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week at No. 9. It’s Brown’s first top 10 entry as a lead artist since 2014’s “Loyal,” which peaked at No. 9.
Last week, Brown revealed that the video for “No Guidance” is “coming soon.” The video release could certainly help move the track up on the charts.
