Adrian Marcel has been bitten by the acting bug. A day before making his silver screen debut as James DeBarge in TV One’s The Bobby DeBarge Story, the smooth crooner released the official video for his latest single, “Slow Burn.”
Inspired by his time on the set of the Russ Parr-directed biopic, the Keoni Mars-directed video follows Marcel as he portrays the role of a new actor getting acclimated with his scenes. His beautiful co-star acts like she doesn’t have time to show him the ropes, but the two eventually get better acquainted. The plot twist is worth watching the video to the end.
“Slow Down” serves as the lead single from Marcel’s sophomore album, 98th, which he released in May. The LP is packed with other summer love songs, including “That Way.”
