If you need a little pick-me-up, Tamika Scott (of Xscape) has the right song for you. On her new motivational anthem, the R&B veteran evokes a spirit of encouragement to lift you up during those trying times.
“Everything happens for a reason / Yes, this is your season / Just keep on believing / Blessings you’ll be receiving,” she sings.
Speaking on the song, Scott wrote on Instagram, “Get inspired, get motivated, and be encouraged! No matter what you may face in life or what situation you maybe going through, it’s only temporary.”
“Almost Over” is the follow-up track to her confident jam “Tonite,” which she released in April. Both songs are set to appear on her forthcoming solo project, The Movie.
