In the heat of summer sunshine, Such has released her third album Wide Nose, Full Lips. The ten-track release, which she crowns “truly a labor of love,” is one that will touch the soul of Black women.
Many of the songs on Wide Nose, Full Lips have an organic, atmospheric sound that highlights the satisfying and uncomfortable aspects of Black womanhood, sensuality, and soul-searching. Such embraces the beauty of “Melanin” with assistance from spoken word artist Kerrie Joy.
Wide Nose, Full Lips also includes the lead single “Before Dark,” which is still bubbling the urban adult contemporary radio chart. She released a sultry video for the record earlier this spring.
On August 24 and 25, Such will host a special two-night event to support her latest album. The shows take place in Denver at Solid Dove Underground. Tickets for these dates and more are available on her official website.
