Summer Walker’s fans will soon know why she’s Over It. The Atlanta native has revealed her debut album will release on October 4 via LVRN/Interscope Records.
Last month, Walker released Destiny’s Child-inspired track “Playing Games” as the lead single. The slow-burning record was produced by her current boyfriend London On Da Track.
There aren’t that many details about the album available just yet. However, Walker confirmed on her Instagram London On Da Track produced the whole project.
On September 14, Walker will play at H.E.R.’s inaugural Lights Off Festival in Concord, California. The lineup also includes Jhené Aiko, Ari Lennox, Daniel Caesar, Lucky Daye, Tone Stith, H.E.R. (of course) and others.
On October 26, Walker will kick off The First and Last Tour to support her debut effort. She will hit major cities including New Orleans, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and Orlando, before closing it out in Memphis on December 21. Tickets are on sale now.
Fans can pre-save Summer Walker’s Over It now. The album will follow her 2018 LP Last Day of Summer and her 2019 EP CLEAR.
