Two years after releasing his Red EP, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Tom Tripp returns with a new EP titled Flag.
Saturated in the experimental sounds of electronic R&B, this five-track project finds Tripp taking an independent stance on love after many shattered dreams of happily ever after.
Speaking on Flag with Notion, Tripp said, “My idea for the album is actually good pain because whatever experience I had whether it’s been bad or good, I’ve always ended up learning from it.”
He continued, “I’m like a cocoon, I’ve always been flourishing musically but now I’m focused, ready and got clarity. I can stand on my own now but before I just needed something to latch onto. It’s been a journey of self-discovery.”
