Emerging singer-songwriter Garren is back with the new (normal), the sequel to his aptly-titled debut mixtape Normal.
The 11-track project features Garren’s poetic delivery over trap-inspired sounds. The Los Angeles-native gets candid about the complexity of relationships on the album’s lead single “It’s Complicated.”
“She said it’s so hard to love / It’s so hard to trust / It’s so hard to know / Who gon’ ride for me, for real (Oh yeah),” Garren sings on the song’s chorus.
“My first album is out right now‼️ I’m excited. Support me!! This is real music,” Garren posted to Instagram shortly after the album’s release.
Garren dropped the visual for his song “Energy” from the album back in 2019. His debut mixtape was released in 2018.
