On the heels of her debut, blooming singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez has dropped the tracklist for her highly-anticipated debut album Before Love Came To Kill Us via Instagram.
In the post, Reyez expresses hesitation in releasing her debut album because of COVID-19.
“The whole premise of building this album was to make something that made people think about their mortality. Now it seems like a theme song to what’s happening IRL,” she posted.
Reyez mentions that she made changes to the tracklist prior to its release. She continues, “If we drop now and the world ends tomorrow, at least my art was authentic.”
The 14-track inaugural release will feature previously released tracks “Ankles,” “Love In The Dark,” and the 6LACK-assisted “Imported, and it will also include a previously unreleased track featuring rapper Eminem titled “Coffin.”
Jessie Reyez’s debut studio album is set to be released on March 27.
