On Thursday night’s episode of Late Night with Stephen Colbert, Baby Rose made her television debut with a #PlayAtHome performance of “Show You.”
Rose’s distinct set of pipes and the elegant playing of the mini-orchestra cause a mighty gust to overtake the grassy-setting.
The late-night performance coincides with the forthcoming deluxe release of her debut album To Myself. The extended edition is slated to arrive on September 18.
The standard version of To Myself, which arrived last August, earned Rose a position on Rated R&B’s 30 best R&B albums of 2019.
Rose has been building buzz for the expanded project since the arrival of her new song “Marmot,” which dropped in July. She also teamed up with musician McClenney for a duet called “Karma Plays.”
