Samoht’s creativity knows no bounds, particularly in his new video “Us At Night.” The North Carolina bred singer/songwriter follows through with the creative theme from his latest project, Alpha.
Similar to Alpha‘s album cover, Samoht and the muse (Jashanta Brown) are adorned in sparkling gems throughout the visual. Directed by Paul Jahn and Trae Alexander, “Us At Night” opens up with stunning views of North Carolina.
Day quickly turns to night as the pair ride down the empty highway, glimmering in the moonlight. The romantic ride leads to an intimate picnic, loaded with an array of goodies to enhance this date night.
The song and video are inspired by the early infatuation stage of a relationship, as the two get to know each other in their own world.
Alpha was released in October 2020 and Samoht shared with Rated R&B in November that the project represents the new space he’s in.
