Tyrese is set to release his fifth studio album, Open Invitation, on November 1.
So far, Tyrese has released two singles from the album: “Stay” and the club banger “Too Easy” featuring Ludacris.
The official tracklist has finally been revealed less than a month before the release. The album will feature additional appearances by Jay Rock, Rick Ross, and Candice.
“For me, this is the best album of my career. I feel really, really good. I feel more a part of the process than I’ve ever felt before in the past. I think right now, a lot of albums that are out there, they sound like mixtapes,” Tyrese told YouKnowIGotSoul about Open Invitation.
He added, “For me, I wanted to get back to the old formula of really getting in there with a music team and really flushing out an album.”
Open Invitation is the follow-up to the singer and actor’s 2006 album, Alter Ego. The double album included features from R. Kelly, Lil Jon, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Too $hort, Kurupt, David Banner, Lil Scrappy, and Manny Fresh.
Additionally, the album included production by Bryan-Michael Cox, The Underdogs, Tricky Stewart, Antonio Dixon, Eric Dawkins, Scott Storch, and more.
Alter Ego debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard 200, selling 116,000 copies in the first week.
