“X Factor: USA” finalist Rachel Crow was heartbroken when she was eliminated from the show. Since then, the young diva has signed a couple of deals to further her career in the entertainment industry. Today (Feb. 22), her new record deal with Columbia Records and television deal with Nickelodeon was announced.
“It’s such an honor to be signed to Columbia Records,” said Crow in a press release. “To think that I am signed to the same label as my idols is a dream come true. I can’t wait to get in the studio and start making music.”
The 14-year-old singer will join Columbia’s artist roster, including Adele, Beyonce, Willow Smith, Maxwell, and Sean Garrett.
In addition to her record deal, Crow has also revealed her new television deal with Nickelodeon. Paula Kaplan, executive vice president of talent strategy, spoke about Crow’s new deal today.
“Rachel is an original,” said Kaplan in a press release. “She’s funny, genuine and has raw talent and a passion for performing. We’re delighted to be home to her first acting project and think she is poised to join the ranks of our next generation of Nick stars.”
As part of the deal, Nickelodeon is developing a comedy series for Crow. Congratulations to Rachel Crow on her new deals!
