This week’s Throwback Thursday song is Blu Cantrell’s 2003 single “Breathe” from her sophomore album “Bittersweet.” The song did fairly well on the Billboard charts. It peaked at number #36 on Billboard’s Top 40 Mainstream Chart and #83 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. It obviously wasn’t as successful as her debut single “Hit Em Up Style (Oops),” but it was still a great song.
There are a few versions of this song. One version features reggae artist Sean Paul and another version features Cantrell rapping at the beginning. Both versions are available below.
