Do you remember R&B singer Gina Thompson’s breakout hit “The Things That You Do,” featuring Missy Elliott? The Bad Boy remix was the first single from her platinum-selling debut album, No Body Does it Better. With Diddy’s (then known as Puff Daddy) production and Elliott’s signature rap, the catchy R&B tune took over urban radio stations in summer 1996. It peaked at No. 41 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 12 on Billboard’s R&B.

In February 2009, after a 10-year absence from the music, Gina Thompson released her sophomore album, Missing You. Unfortunately, the album failed to chart on any Billboard charts. On a lighter note, we will always remember Missy Elliott’s famous line on the song, “Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-How, Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-How.”
