Kelly Rowland recently confirmed that Beyoncé and Michelle Williams will appear on her upcoming album, Talk A Good Game.
“It’s not a Destiny’s Child track, it’s me featuring Beyoncé and Michelle,” Rowland said. Rowland also mentioned that the song is very soulful.
In a recent interview with Radio.com, the “Kisses Down Low” singer shared more details about the song, which is titled “You Changed.” The song was produced by Harmony Samuels (Chris Brown, Brandy, Fantasia) and written by Courtney Harrell (Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige).
“It’s a great record and our voices sound so great on this record, I am so excited for people to hear it,” she tells Radio.com.
“It is about a relationship that has gone awry and not in the best place. The way the record is written is genius. I tip my hat to Courtney Harrell. The way she is witty and sarcastic, lyrically, just made me so excited to sing it.”
Rowland is expected to release Talk A Good Game this summer via Republic Records. The album will include features from Beyoncé, Michelle Williams, Wiz Khalifa, and Pharell Williams. In addition, production includes Mike Will, Harmony, The Runners, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and more.
“Kisses Down Low” is the lead single off Talk A Good Game. As of today, “Kisses Down Low” is at No.1 on Billboard’s R&B Songs Chart.
