With only two weeks away from releasing her highly anticipated and most personal album to date, Side Effects of You, Fantasia teases her fans with the 13 track snippets.
“I worked with one producer on this album. I enjoyed the Lauryn Hill album, the Justin Timberlake when he just worked with Tim, Micheal Jackson when he just worked with Quincy Jones on the Thriller,” Fantasia explains. “So I wanted an album like that where I’m not bouncing around from to here to here, so I just worked with one producer out of London, his name is Harmony Samuels.”
The ‘American Idol’ winner put her writing skills to the test on this album, but also had the help of singer/songwriters Eric Bellinger and Tank. Fantasia also reunites with Missy Elliott on “Without You,” which also features fellow R&B singer Kelly Rowland.
