“American Idol” season 12 winner Candice Glover has already kicked off her promotional campaign for her debut album, “Music Speaks.”
The 23-year-old songstress appeared on “Live! with Kelly and Michael” yesterday (May 20) to perform her debut single “I Am Beautiful.” After performing, Glover was interviewed by Kelly and Michael where she explained how auditioning for “Idol” three times made her a better artist.
“I went home and I studied just about every genre of music and got my musical knowledge up,” Glover said. “I think I turned myself more into an artist than a singer.”
Glover’s album “Music Speaks” is scheduled to release on July 16 via 19 Recordings/Interscope Records.
