Justin Timberlake is putting his stamp on 2013. The singer announced via Instagram that he will release the sequel to his platinum-selling album The 20/20 Experience on September 30.
The album is expected to feature ten tracks produced by Timbaland, who produced the first installment of The 20/20 Experience.
In March 2013, Timberlake confirmed that he would release part two of his 20/20 Experience. “I got to clear a rumor up. This whole thing about this being the first half of the album is true. There is another half. I’m not telling you when it comes out.” he told Ryan Seacrest.
The first installment debuted at No. 1 on Billboard, selling 968,000 copies in its first week of sales. The album has sold 1.5 million copies to date, as it makes its way to becoming double platinum.
In other news, Timberlake and Jay-Z will kick off their “Legends of the Summer Tour” on July 17 in Toronto. The tour will hit 12 major cities in North America including New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami.
