R&B stars Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson sat down with Robin Roberts to promote their upcoming “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” film on “Good Morning America.”
“The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” stars Jennifer Hudson who plays the role of Gloria, a heroin addict, while Alicia Keys worked behind the camera as the powerful drama’s executive producer.
Jennifer Hudson discussed how she landed the role of Gloria and how she prepared for the character.
Robin Roberts also made sure to talk motherhood with the two singers, as well as Alicia Key’s upcoming 2013 Black Ball fundraiser for her charity, Keep A Child Alive, which will be held in New York City on November 7. The charity assists people affected by the HIV/AIDS disease in Africa and India.
