Steve Wonder has recently announced that he will not only perform at the 18th annual House Full of Toys Benefit Concert, but will perform his “Songs in the Key of Life” album in its entirety at the benefit.
“This has been a fantasy of mine for a while,” said Wonder. “I wanted to do something that would thank everyone for supporting my career and thank God for me being able to do the music I do. And listening to this album again, it is amazing to me how relevant it is today.”
“Songs in the Key of Life,” released in 1976 by Motown Records, included successful hits like “Isn’t She Lovely” and “Knocks Me Off My Feet.”
This year’s House Full of Toys Benefit Concert, which collects and distributes unwrapped gifts for those in need, will be held December 21 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
Tickets for the event go on sale November 1 at AXS.com.
