Lil’ Kim seems to be plotting a comeback, as we have seen her featured in the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher and Kendrick Lamar bringing her on stage during his performance at Power 105.1′s Powerhouse. Now a possible collaboration with K. Michelle?
In a recent interview with Rap-Up, K. Michelle talked about her new upcoming VH1 reality show, working with the rapper and female collaborations.
The “V.S.O.P” singer told Rap-Up that just as Lil’ Kim joined Lamar on stage, the female rapper was supposed to join her during her performance as well.
“The time at Powerhouse got moved up,” the singer said. “So you know us women, we take a long time to get ready and the time was so back-to-back, there was no room to move. She didn’t make it to hit the stage with me in time. I was bummed, but the show must go on.”
K. Michelle also spoke on female collaborations in music, and why they do not happen very often. However, the starlet is promoting female collaborations and unity, along with a more positive side of K. Michelle with her new VH1 reality show, “No New Friends.”
As we cross our fingers for a possible K. Michelle-Lil’ Kim collab, check out the full interview with Rap-Up below.
