On Wednesday morning (Dec. 11), Bobby V stopped by Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club to discuss his new EP, “Peach Moon,” which is available now on iTunes.
With his new EP, the “Back to Love” crooner told the hosts of the morning show he wanted to “push the envelope of creativity” and isn’t trying to “chase radio” success. He wanted to put new project to be something that sticks to his fans soul.
DJ Envy brought up the point of Bobby V’ not making big profit from “Peach Moon.” However, Bobby V isn’t worried about the backend of the project. “I’m not tripping about making money off this,” said Mississippi native. “I really want to get the music out. I want to give people something that will stick forever.”
While “Peach Moon” taps into the deep roots of R&B music, Bobby doesn’t plan on abandoning his mainstream sound as he announced the second installment of the EP will drop next year.
Along with talking about “Peach Moon,” the R&B crooner talked about wanting to do a positive reality show, his car jacking that was captured on Instagram and a sex tape — he doesn’t want to come out.
