What’s the Christmas season without Mariah Carey? The R&B diva has teamed up with NBCUniversal to give fans an exclusive look into her favorite time of year on various NBC shows and platforms.
“Mariah Carey’s 12 Days of Christmas” will feature a variety of performances, exclusive one-on-one interviews, a glimpse of the icon’s holiday moments, and more.
Last week, Carey opened and closed NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center Tree lighting special which garnered the highest ratings in seven years. Following the highly-rated performances, the “Shake It Off” singer officially kicked off her “12 Days of Christmas” live from her chic Tribeca triplex in New York City on the Today Show on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Continuing her “12 Days of Christmas,” Carey will appear as a special guest on all three hours of The Today Show on multiple days and will make appearances on Access Hollywood, Extra, Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Al Sharpton’s PoliticsNation on MSNBC, and more.
Carey will share Yuletide cocktail recipes, spend time with the Fresh Air Fund children, and for the first time, allow cameras exclusive access into her home decorated for the holiday.
That’s not all. Carey is also confirmed to headline NBC’s 2013 New Year’s Eve broadcast. In addition, she will perform with Michael Buble for his special airing on Dec. 18.
