A party isn’t a party unless there is an after-party, as we know from the talented lyricist Jay-Z. The 56th Annual Grammy Awards has confirmed its line-up for The Recording Academy’s official Grammy after-party taking place immediately after the award ceremony telecast Jan. 26 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Grammy winner Ciara and four-time Grammy-winning group Boyz II Men are booked to perform for the 2014 Grammy Celebration. Known as one of the year’s most anticipated events, this year’s theme for the Celebration is The Roaring ‘20s, a defining decade in Jazz culture of social prosperity. In honor of this theme, the Celebration’s MasterCard Jazz Lounge will have performances by contemporary swing revival band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
“What better way to celebrate Music’s Biggest Night than with an amazing Grammy after-party where our guests can continue to enjoy their evening surrounded by music, incredible food and a stunningly visual party atmosphere culminating in not-to-be missed performances,” said President/CEO of The Recording Academy Neil Portnow. “This year’s glamorous Roaring ‘20s theme is sure to provide a uniquely memorable experience for all.”
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Stay tuned after the ceremony to watch Ciara and Boyz II Men make R&B proud.
