British singer-songwriter Marsha Ambrosius has released a new track titled “Dear Tremaine.”
Similar to her heart-wrenching single “Far Away,” Ambrosius sings about missing a dear friend and the many emotions that go along with loss — regret, grief and reflection.
The former Floetry singer is working on her sophomore album “Friends & Lovers,” the follow-up to her successful debut album “Late Nights & Early Mornings.” She also released two buzz singles: “Cold War” (produced by Diplo and the Picard Brothers) and the Ne-Yo assisted “Without You.”
On Ambrosius’ sound cloud page, she reveals who the track is dedicated to. “This song is named and dedicated to someone near and dear to not only mine but many hearts,” she wrote. “We’ll forever miss you ‘Mayne xoxoxo R.I.P.”
As Ambrosius implies, we should give flowers to loved ones while they can still smell them.
